Ravi Dubey

Specializing in Web & Mobile Experiences.

Software engineer with 2+ years of experience building and scaling web and mobile applications. At Dnyandeep Foundation Centre, I owned development, native builds, and Play Store releases for DFC (10K+ downloads; 3,554 enrolled students) and AptiBooster (1K+ downloads) — executing the full TypeScript revamp, in-app payments, and Android delivery with verified Play Console results.

Engineering impact

Measurable improvements across shipped mobile products.

Verified production results from DFC and AptiBooster — startup, release optimization, and measured delivery improvements.

DFC release optimization: 24.36%21.02 MB → 15.9 MB (24.36%)R8, ProGuard, and App Bundle work on the same Play listing. Separate from on-demand Zoom.
User-perceived crash rate improvement: 10.36% lowerCurrent production: 0.1% user-perceived crash rate. 10.36% lower than the pre-revamp baseline.
DFC app start improvement (p90): 11.2%~894 ms → 794 ms (11.2%)Firebase Performance p90 on production Android after lazy-loaded navigators and startup-path refactors.
AptiBooster release optimization: 13.9%23.7 MB → 20.4 MB (13.9%)
Home JS CPU after cold start (lab): 2.8%29.1% → 2.8%Flashlight avg JS thread CPU over a 15s Home window. Controlled lab before/after the production release that shipped the fix, on a low-end phone with tight RAM and storage.

Production app

DFC

Production education app with on-demand Zoom delivery.

Production application with 10K+ downloads, listed on Google Play as Dnyandeep Foundation Centre. Owned the revamp on the existing listing — a new TypeScript codebase with onboarding, deep links, offline usage, role-based access, Kotlin/Android native modules where needed, and Android delivery architecture.

Led the DFC mobile revamp on the existing Play listing: new TypeScript and TanStack Query codebase with auth/API integration and the full student onboarding flow built from scratch.
Shipped a Firebase Crashlytics logger for fatal and non-fatal exceptions, with stack trace, API URL, and component context, plus selective axios interceptors that report actionable failures without flooding Crashlytics.

Production app

AptiBooster

Live test telemetry is the source of truth; the mobile app integrates APIs for analysis and reports.

Production aptitude app with 1K+ downloads, built substantially from scratch. Scoring, peer comparison, and structured analysis data come from one live test client; the mobile app surfaces API-backed insights (including backend-generated analysis and reports).

Built the live test client so revisits, option changes, and countdown time stay consistent enough to power scoring, peer comparison, and structured analysis data.
In-app subscription payments via Razorpay.

About me

I care about what happens after "it works".

How it feels. How it performs. How it holds up in the hands of real people.

I'm a software engineer working across modern web and mobile experiences. Having shipped and maintained production mobile apps at scale with React Native and TypeScript, I bring that same engineering rigor, state-management discipline, and interface craft to building modern web applications with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.

I enjoy turning complex product requirements into clean, dependable interfaces — and taking end-to-end engineering ownership of what ships.

Independent engineering ownership across DFC and AptiBooster, covering features, native builds, and Google Play releases.
- Managed end-to-end Google Play releases, phased rollouts, and in-app update flows for DFC and AptiBooster.
- Moved Zoom Meeting SDK out of DFC base delivery with an Android Dynamic Feature Module (161 MB on-demand, reducing base download from 177 MB to 15.9 MB).
- Cut DFC p90 app start from ~894 ms to 794 ms on production Android with lazy-loaded navigators and startup-path refactors; ~5 MB lower JS heap at Home idle in internal profiling.
- Maintained a 0.1% user-perceived crash rate on Google Play production (10.36% lower than baseline) through structured crash monitoring, defensive error boundaries, and proactive stability fixes.
